| STEP 3: INSTALL THE MYITLAB ACTIVEX/PLUGIN |
The ActiveX/Plugin is required to download resources required to launch myitlab.

To ensure that you have the correct ActiveX version installed, complete the following steps:
- Click link to download the ActiveX control.
- When prompted, click the Run button.
- Click the Run button and then follow the on-screen instructions to install the ActiveX control.

Note: Click as instructed if following text appears at the top of your screen: “This website wants to run the following add-on: ‘Pearson Education’ from ‘Pearson Education’. If you trust the website and the add-on and want to allow it to run, click here.”

Tip: Installed the ActiveX control but still having trouble launching exams? Repeat the ActiveX installation, following these steps:
- Click this link to download the ActiveX control.
- When prompted, click the Save button. Save the file setup.exe to a location on your Desktop (or other location on your hard drive).
- Close Internet Explorer.
- Locate the file setup.exe on your Desktop (or other location on your hard drive) and then double-click it. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the ActiveX control.
- Restart your browser and then return to this page in the Installation Wizard.
